Basic Course IdS-OM-A: OpenMaster
Installation, Deployment and Field Support

Objective	Be able to implement the product in standard environments. This includes installing the server, agents and stations. Understand typical customer solution architectures and components Install a basic configuration Build a deployment plan Identify problems, report them to Evidian support, and apply fixes
Prerequisites	Knowledge in UNIX, Windows environments, SNMP, TCP/IP networks. The course is in English.
Contents	The items covered include: OpenMaster framework IP Discovery, MIB management tools Monitor, Template Editor, Alarm QueryBuilder, Performance Services Java Station applications: RBM, Alarm Java Application Governor: including Monitor Java, Patrol AI, Business Process maps and XML tree customization Event Processor OpenAgents, including their deployment with Configuration Governor Other items are also mentioned: Performance Java Event Correlation Report SafeMaster Application Governor: including Monitor Java, Patrol AI, Business Process maps and XML tree customization Architecture: Java Station, SAD, COACH mid-level manager, Supra Management (TCP/IP)
