Evidian ID Synchronization
ID Synchronization builds an authoritative identity source from multiple identity sources, and stores it into a reference LDAP directory.
Using predefined rules, it also keeps this reliable reference directory synchronized with the multiple identity sources.
Typical uses include:
- The ID Synchronization module can be used to build the enterprise's LDAP identity directory
- ID Synchronization can be used to build the authoritative identity source used by the User Provisioning module. When identities change in a source (such as a user’s name or email address), ID Synchronization propagates this change between the authoritative identity source and the multiple other identity sources. Then the access rights and the provisioned data are automatically updated into the provisioned sources
- ID Synchronization can be used to deploy Evidian Enterprise SSO in environments in which there are multiple heterogeneous identity sources. In this case, it builds and consolidates the LDAP identity source of Evidian Enterprise SSO
ID Synchronization synchronizes and consolidates multiple identity sources.
